Royal Wedding: YAM Raja Azureen Sultan Azlan Shah and Mohamed Salleh bin Mohamed Ismail, 1979

Raja (now Dato’ Seri) Azureen is the eldest daughter of DYMM Sultan Azlan Shah and was born in Penang on 9 December 1957. This photo of her wedding to (now Dato Seri) Mohamed Salleh Mohamed Ismail was taken on 8 September 1979 at Changkat Persekutuan shows the DYMM Yang Di Pertuan Agong, Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, performing the menabur bunga rampai ritual to bless the newly wedded couple. YAM Raja Dato Seri Azureen and Dato Seri Mohamed Salleh have issue, two daughters and two sons.
