YMM Raja Perempuan Kelsom mangkat on 10 May 1972 at Istana Lembah in Bukit Chandan. She was 72. The lying in state of Almarhumah’s jenazah was at Istana Iskandariah.
Almarhumah Raja Perempuan Kelsom, or her full name Raja Puteh Umi Kelsom binti Raja Kulop Muhammad Kramat, was then interred at the Al-Ghufran Royal Mausoleum. She was the consort of Almarhum Sultan Iskandar and mother to Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah II.
